When Darkseid gets wind of this, he has the Kryptonian abducted and brought under his control on Apokolips. It's up to Batman and Superman to retrieve the Kryptonian, forcing them to infiltrate Darkseid's hostile world where super-powerful threats lurk around every corner. This story is based on Jeph Loeb and Michael Turners's popular story arc from the Superman/Batman comic book.

i am very pleased with this comic seriesgetting dvd treatment comic series i have of tpb, & seom in hard covers Summer Glau, Edward Asner, Tim Daly, Andre Braugher, Kevin Conroy when these actors are togeather i like orginal superman & batman voices from justice league tv series i will buy 2 disk edition when it is released looking forward to it anyone who is excited about this being released on bluray give me break i bought greenlantern dvd in bluray animated movie i saw no picture quality differnce or audio differnce what so ever bluray makes live action movies picture quality brighter but it does nothing for animated movies.
if you liked batman/superman publice enemeys dvd or this comic series i recomend picking this up

Wonder woman plays a huge role in this story , not really Batman . It's a marketing thing , use the most marketable characters in the title , plus it's based off of a comic called "Superman/Batman" . But I still think she should be in the title or this cartoon should be called "Justice League: Apocalypse" .
Just a random opinion to combat the jerks 1 staring this movie before it's released .

my comments are wait until you see the movie, michael turner's style is all over this and since the voices for the worlds finest are here it might be good, we'll see. I hope God will bless michael turner he was a special artist.

I agree with Taellik: have to give this product one (1) star due to Amazon's policy of over-hyping an item. The item hasn't been released yet and Amazon allows geeks to post reviews of an un-released product which totally invalidates the purpose of a product review which is a critique of an actual hands-on item.
Shame on you Amazon for allowing this type of bias to take place.
